NeonFlash - jQuery plugin

Makes elements flash like a broken neon sign

 

Tested and works in Firefox 3.0.5, Opera 9.62, Chrome 1.0.154.43, Safari 3.2.1 and IE 7.0.5730.13 -- All on Win XP

 

Usage:

$('#id').neonflash();

or

$('img').neonflash({blinks:10});

or

$('#id').neonflash({infinity:true});

(to blink forever)

 

Options:

        infinity	//	blink until page is unloaded? overrides initialWait, blinks and pause - Default: false
        initialWait	// Time to wait before starting to flash (ms) - Default: 500
        blinks		// Number of times to blink - Default: 4
        pause		// Duration of "pauses" (hide element) (ms) - Default: 150
